Prof. Ochieng Ombaka (Professor of Analytical chemistry), COD

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Department of Physical Sciences at Chuka University, located in Tharaka Nithi County in the central region of Kenya. As the Chair of the department, I am excited to share with you our mission, vision, and mandate. Our department is committed to fostering excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement within the field of physical sciences. Through our diverse programs and cutting-edge research initiatives, we aim to inspire curiosity, cultivate critical thinking skills, and prepare future leaders in science and technology.
